Civil Docket
The regular Civil Docket will be called at 9 a.m., or soon thereafter, in Room 102 of the Rutherford County Judicial Building. The Friday Civil Docket will continue to be held in Room 102 and the Tuesday Civil Docket will be held in Room 105 of the Rutherford County Judicial Building at 9 a.m.
Beginning Tuesday, September 5, 2006, our goal in General Sessions Part III will be to discourage “special settings” and encourage the trial of brief small claims matters on the day they are set or soon thereafter. Please consider this new policy and encourage litigants to come to court prepared to have brief hearings on the date matters are initially set.
In the event that a matter is set on a special date for hearing, please be advised that the parties should check in the Judges’ central office at Room 104 of the Judicial Building for the court location as we will be shifting to courtrooms as space is available.
Probate Docket
Matters usually heard in the Probate Court will continue to be heard in Chambers for Part III at 8:15, 8:30, and 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday through Friday until further notice.
